Responsibilities
- We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive to join our growing team! M9 Solutions is made up of a group of individuals who are passionate about serving our clients, bettering our industry, and improving our community. If you’re a glass half-full kind of person and have a knack for connecting with people, then this could be the right opportunity for you!
- As a part of our team, you will be interacting extensively with companies looking to scale in the government market.
- This relationship-focused position will require you to be curious, engaging, patient, and forward thinking; you will need to take time to truly understand a company’s needs and obstacles to effectively determine how M9 Solutions can provide value to their growth trajectory.
- Develop relationships and build rapport with prospective clients and the organizations we partner with.
- Qualify prospective clients by having consultative discussions.
- Stay informed and quarterback on upcoming Federal procurements, including understanding and sharing the implications of critical updates with clients during the sales lifecycle and explaining how those changes may impact their business.
- Attend in-person and virtual industry events on a weekly basis.
- Network with key decision makers across the government contracting community.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
- Sales experience is preferred – you must be engaging and able to confidently lead discussions in a consultative manner.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting, procurement methods, and major contract vehicles.
- Experience collaborating with multiple team members across various departments.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

- M9 Solutions’ pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include, but are not limited to, responsibilities of the position, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, location, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
