Ryan Smith

Ryan joined the M9 team in 2013 and is responsible for all finance operations including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, accounting, and budget management. Previously, he managed intercompany finance and reporting at B2B Workforce, a Randstad company. Ryan holds a Bachelors of Business Administration, Finance from the University of Georgia.

Ryan likes to start each morning by completing at least one task related to a long-term goal. Much of Ryan’s focus is on ensuring the business operates on schedule within daily, weekly and monthly cycles, but he likes the idea of keeping the big picture in mind each day before diving into more repetitive work. His afternoons are spent resolving issues for the team and other teams within the organization to make sure everyone has what they need to focus on their job and perform their best.

When not at work, Ryan spends most of his time with his wife, Whitney, exploring the culinary scene in his hometown of Denver, CO. In the warmer months, he’s often on the golf course or mountain biking, but heads to the mountains to snowboard in the winter.
