Financial Reporting Manager

M9 Solutions is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to work remotely on a government contract for a client located in Arlington, VA. An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Post logic research and implementation.
- Identify and document roles and responsibilities between the project’s operational responsibilities (i.e., researching reconciliation items, tie point issues, accruals, etc.).
- Determine manual versus automated entries that are occurring or need to occur.
- Perform reviews of posting logic.
- Research and identify abnormal balances and identify corrections.
- Determine trading partner eliminations.
- Conduct voucher reviews.
- Review trial balance, identify, and coordinate the correction of variances.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- An active Secret clearance is required.
- Technical skills in accounting including posting logic and financial reporting.
- Project management skills to monitor all tasks and follow up with client organizations.
- Ability to prepare status reports for the project and other client presentations.
- Communication skills such as verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Management skills to lead a team of 3-5 team members.
