In continuing our celebration of Family Fun Month, we interviewed a few of our Corporate team members to get to know a little more about them and their families. What is your favorite thing to do with your family? #FamilyFunMonth
Dianna Black – Senior Director, Sales
Please share a little bit about your family. Who is included?
My husband Gregg and I have been married for almost 6 years and we have a 5-year-old Red Golden Retriever named Moose, a 3-year-old son named Mason, and an almost 10-month-old baby girl named Madison.
What is one of your favorite things to do as a family?
As a family we love doing anything in the water. Mason, Madison and Moose all love playing in the baby pools and splash pads! It also helps keep us cool during the heat waves!
Aside from your friends and family, what are 3 things you can’t live without?
This is a tough one. Three things besides family and friends that I can’t live without would be Water for sure, Music because it just always makes everything better and Chapstick! There is nothing worse than chapped lips!
What is one piece of advice you could share that helps you keep your work/family balance?
One piece of advice that I would share for a good work life balance would be to take some time every night to put your phone down and just have family time. It’s important to step away at times to not only enjoy time with your loved ones but also to recharge your batteries. It is so easy, especially with remote work due to COVID, to have such blurred lines and overwork yourself, so schedule that time and block it on your calendar and put down the phone!

Please share a little bit about your family. Who is included?
We are a family of 4. We live outside of Atlanta, GA and our family consists of my husband, Matt, myself and our 2 toddler boys. Banks is 3 and Theo is 2 so we are deep in dinos, trucks, monsters, bugs, diggers and all other things that little boys love.
What is one of your favorite things to do as a family?
I love spending time together and seeing the world through our little boys’ eyes. As hard as the last year and half has been in different ways, one of the greatest things that came from quarantine and the change of pace was just spending time together at home. The pandemic started right before our youngest, Theo, turned 1 and right after our oldest, Banks, turned 2. We have heard their vocabulary grow, seen first steps taken, potty trained successfully and just lived life. I grew up with 3 sisters so seeing their brother bond grow, while being so close in age, is an everyday moment that is special. One of our favorite things to do is turn on music and have a Friday evening family dance party to kick off the weekend!
Aside from your friends and family, what are 3 things you can’t live without?
My faith, iced coffee and a daily workout.
What is one piece of advice you could share that helps you keep your work/family balance?
Set aside regular family time. I know this is something to continually work on and work towards, but I try to set aside separate time for my family. We are fortunate to have full time childcare during the work week, but it’s important to me to be present when our boys are around. I typically drop off in the morning and my husband picks them up in the evenings. We eat dinner at home together, most nights, and trade off with bath time and bedtime. I often get my computer back out after the boys are in bed but really try to split my time that is dedicated to work and my time that is dedicated to my family.
Calen Weaver – Talent Acquisition Specialist
Please share a little bit about your family. Who is included?
I have an amazing family, outside of my Mom and Dad I have a bonus Mom and Dad. I also have a younger brother and sister, making me the oldest of three. In my current household, I have my boyfriend, our little girl, and our sweet pup Skye.
What is one of your favorite things to do as a family?
Truthfully, I am happy just making or ordering food and watching movies. Since moving to the beach, I also enjoy going down there with our dog and everyone playing in the ocean.
Aside from your friends and family, what are 3 things you can’t live without?
My dog would be #1, outside of that and friends and family I really don’t “need” anything else but am thankful for my good health and have enjoyed being a new homeowner.
What is one piece of advice you could share that helps you keep your work/family balance?
I think staying on a schedule and trying to always plan for and allow for family time without letting work consume you. We all can get caught up wanting to give our family the best, we forget sometimes that is just spending time together and making memories. Those last a lifetime!
