After careful consideration, the M9 Management Team is thrilled to announce the winners of the Q3 2020 Awards! These awards include Person of the Quarter (Billable), Person of the Quarter (Corporate), and Most Valuable Employee of the Quarter. Read on to find out who our winners are!
Firstly, we are pleased to announce that the Billable Person of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter is Hilda Carrigan! Hilda resides in Texas and is an Assembler Language/Business Analyst. She started working with us on October 1, 2018, on a project with Accenture Federal, thus being with us for just over 2 years. She is an Assembler Language (ALC) subject matter expert and the technical lead for an ALC software application on a mainframe platform. As part of her role, she writes and formally documents business software programs and requirements for all new development within the team.
Hilda evaluates requirements for software development and converts them into low-level design documentation for other programming staff to interpret and implement. Furthermore, she writes ALC code and carries out unit testing for many different software enhancements, as well as software defects from all levels of testing. She develops and maintains the team’s software conjuration and change control management process, which now includes peer reviews, documented test plans and results, and test cases. She supports and sees the application through all phases of software development from the unit test, through to integration testing and production support. Besides that, she also resolves critical issues at a multifunctional level, providing a detailed technical analysis for crucial production situations. She ensures frequent engagement of both the customer and management and is able to expertly communicate complex technical issues in business terms.
Hilda has received glowing feedback for her outstanding work on her team. As an example of that, a client had this to say:

Next, the 3rd Quarter’s Corporate Person of the Quarter is Calen Weaver! Calen is an Associate Recruiter who has been with M9 since June 22, 2020. Since her induction into the company, she has been a wonderful addition to the team. Calen was chosen based on her representation of the M9 core values, embodied in her enthusiastic, energetic, kind, reliable, and respectful demeanor. She is a hard worker with a healthy curiosity, and she is always willing to lend a hand. The way she conducts herself on a daily basis raises everyone’s spirits and her zealous participation in all non-mandatory M9 activities sets a great example that encourages the involvement of the rest of the team as well.
Finally, we are excited to announce that the Most Valuable Employee of the 3rd Quarter is, once again, Shannon Jackson! Shannon currently lives in Texas and is a Vice President and Account Executive for our Accenture Federal Services account. Having started with M9 on January 5, 2015, she has been with us for over 5 years and has made significant contributions to the team during her long tenure with M9, and she has a bright future ahead of her.
